Script Not Appearing in Photoshop

If you cannot see the script in File > Scripts:

  1. Ensure you have placed the entire TheMockupEngine folder in a safe location.
  2. You do not need to "install" it into the Photoshop program folders. Just use File > Scripts > Browse... and locate the .jsx file.

"Smart Object Not Found" Error

This error occurs when the script cannot find the layer to replace.

  1. Open your Mockup PSD file.
  2. Locate the Smart Object layer.
  3. Rename it to YOUR_DESIGN (or whatever name is set in the script settings).
  4. Save the PSD and try again.

Error: "General Photoshop Error"

This is usually a memory issue.

  1. Restart Photoshop.
  2. Try processing fewer files at once (e.g., batches of 10 instead of 50).
  3. Ensure your disk has enough free space for the output files.
